Ann Driscoll

|
Ann Driscoll first
started playing guitar when she was seven, inspired
by The Beatles and Nirvana. She picked up drums and
bass shortly thereafter. At ten, she began studying
double and electric bass formally, attending
Interlochen Arts Camp for two summers and playing in
youth symphonies. Now eighteen, she just graduated
from high school in Cincinnati, OH, and is a
journalism student at the University of
Missouri-Columbia.
Ann has released
her first self-titled EP. The EP consists of six
songs which she
wrote and on which she performed all
the instruments. You
can download it at www.anndriscoll.com or purchase
the songs for 99 cents at
indieclectic. Intrigued by artists in many
different genres, Ann believes that everything she
listens to somehow affects and influences her music.
Nevertheless, she describes her sound as "Beatlesesque
pop/rock." |
